Spiritual Exhibition, Sadhana Camp & Press Meet
The Mahasammelan of SSSSO, Gujarat and the Sadhana Camp on 9 point of code of conduct were held on 27 – 28th of January, 2018 at Vadnagar, Gujarat. Vadnagar village has its own unique identity because of the birth place and home town of a famous personality Hon. Prime minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi. Apart from this the village is famous since ages due to two famous musicians TANA and RIRI. It is also a home town of these two sisters who were able to sing the Malhar Raaga. Considering the rich cultural heritage thus the venue was selected as Hatkeshwar Mahadev Mandir sankul, Vadnagar.
On 27th Jan. the day commenced at 10.30 am, with chanting of Omkar, Ganesha Vandana, Saraswati Vandana and Lighting of the Lamp at the venue of the spiritual exhibition, at Hatkeshwar temple, Vadnagar . The exhibition, displayed the pictorial depiction on the Sai Avatar mission , right from Bhagwan’s birth , His mission statements, seva activities, Organisation’s seva activities, both at National and State level to carry out the Avatar Mission. The inauguration of the exhibition was done by the worthy hand of Sri. Somabhai D Modi, the elder brother of Hon. Prime Minister of India, Sri. Narendra Modi, by unfolding the knot of the ribbon. Dr.Deepak Anand, Dr. Shashank Shah with many dignitaries including State President, Vice State President and Dist. Presidents of various Dist. Of the organisation were present. This Exhibition was visited by many dignitaries with local public of about 500 visitors. Exhibition was kept open till 1 pm. On 28th Jan. In the evening 70 minutes video show was shown to public regarding Sai Avtar Mission.
The Sadhana Camp for state office bearers and district presidents was organized on 27th January, 2018 at Rotary club hall, Visnagar, presided by S.P. Shri Manohar Trikannad. Guests were Dr..Deepak Anand & Dr. Shashank Shah. The main focus of this camp was ‘9 Points of Code of Conduct’ given by our beloved Bhagwan. Nine speakers from the state itself were identified to give the talk on each of the points this was followed by discussion. GD focused on the implementation and inculcation of the 9 points in day to day life to make the life spiritual and at the end to become the worthy instruments in the Divine hands as office bearers of SSSSO. Summing up of the deliberation was done by the two guests. The sadhana camp was attended by almost 40 office bearers and DPs of Gujarat state.This was followed by state meeting in which the upcoming events and seva – sadhana programs were highlighted and discussed by hon. State president Shri. Manohar Trikannad.
The press conference was also organised on the same day at 6-30 p.m.wherein around 30 media personal came from different media. State President Shri Manohar Trikannad, Dr.Shashank Shah and Shri Yagnesh Jani, Dist. President Ahmedavad addressed the press meet and their queries were satisfied.

By the Divine Grace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Annual conference of SSSSO. Gujarat held at Hatkeshwer Mahadev Temple, Vadanagar on 28th Jan. The theameof the conference was “Spirituality, A Heartbeat of SSSSO”. The Guest speakers were Dr.Deepak Anand, Asst. Professor, SSSIHL, Puttaparthy and Dr. Shashank Shah, Visiting faculty of Howard Uni. USA. The day commenced with Nagar Sankirtan at Visnagar, a small town near Vadnagar at 5 am. About 45 devotees participated. About 25 devotees chanted Sri Rudram at the sanctum sanctorum of Hatkeshwar temple in the morning hours at about 7.30 am. At about 9.50 am Maha Sammelan events commenced with Flag Hoisting by State President , invocation of Lord Ganesha and Godess Saraswathi, followed by Lighting the Lamp by the dignitaries present on the occasion. The State President welcomed Swami by offering a floral bouquet. Welcome address was given by Hon.Vice State President Sri Hemant Patel. He welcomed the gathering and prayed to swami to bless the event. This was followed by the inaugural address by Hon. SP Sri Manohar Trikannad. He explained the theme and made it clear for the devotees present there. He read out the best wishes messages sent by respected AIP, Sri Nimish Pandya and VAIP Sri Ramani. He also implored bhagwan for his blessings The dignitaries present including,, Dr Bhavesh Mehta, Dr Vimal Joshi, Dr Asha Patel, Local MLA, Sri Prakash Patel, Chairman , S K Patel Deemed University, Visnagar, Sri Somabhai D Modi & others.
Ms. Babita M Yadav, Bharuch, won the first prize in State level Elocution competition, on the topic “Is Social Networking a Boon or Curse ?. She presented her prize winning speech in the presence of the dignitaries on dais. She received her prize winning shield from the State President. Bharuch Dist was given the rotating trophy which was received by the Dist. President Harish Chauhan.
The first talk was given by Hon. Dr. Deepak Anand, Faculty SSSIHL, Puttaparthy. In his nearly 90 minutes speech, Dr Deepak Anand quoted several instances in which he had direct interaction with our Beloved Bhagwan in close proximity and which gave him opportunity to seek answers from Bhagwan on several questions on spirituality. His experiences with Bhagwan brought surprise coupled with thrill among the audience present which included several non devotees. After that 18 inmates of the Vridhashram (old age home) at Vadnagar, both Gents & Mahilas were honoured with Vibhuti, Swamy’s photo, Dhoti and Saree respectively.
The post lunch session was taken over by Dr Shashank Shah, who in his 90 minutes speech explained the word “Spirituality” letter by letter, intercepted with several quotes by Bhagwan and his experiences with Bhagwan.
In Valedictory speech S.P. Shri Manohar Trikannad briefed the upcoming activities of the Organisation which were discussed on the previous day. He then happily said that both the speakers have very lucidly explained the meaning of Spirituality and its importance in our Organisation as per Swamis views.He concluded his valedictory speech by asking all present to t5ake oath along with him to be worthy instruments in the Swami’s hand in carrying out His Mission selflessly.
The Function was concluded with vote of thanks by Shri Yagnesh Jani, Dist. President of Ahmedabad. The Mangal Aarti was performed at the Lotus feet in the end for his eternal blessings. The program was ended with National Anthem
